Milk & Cookies due in July
2006 IBC finalists Alvin Jett & the Phat noiZ Blues Band announce their second CD, Milk & Cookies, with a release party planned for Friday, July 28 at BB's Jazz Blues & Soups in St. Louis.
On the House of Blues Radio Hour
The band is featured with Elwood Blues (a.k.a. Dan Aykroyd) on a show dedicated to the International Blues Challenge, airing in over 180 markets the weekend of January 21–22, 2006.
Best Self-Produced CD — final four
Wet My Beak — the MO Blues Association's entry — advanced to the final four of the Blues Foundation's contest, announced January 29, 2006 at the International Blues Competition in Memphis.
On to the IBC semi-finals in Memphis
Winning the MO Blues Association Blues Blast at Mojo's in Columbia, Missouri earned the band a semi-final spot at the International Blues Challenge, January 26–28, 2006 on Beale Street.
